As a pioneer of Hungarian new-wave hip-hop, Kolos Halász, aka Co Lee, became familiar to an increasingly wider audience throughout 2022 and 2023. Which should come as no surprise given that the MC, who possesses a truly unique voice and whose punk-like sincerity and visceral nature makes him as astounding live presence, also trained to be an acrobat. Halász has created a new joint album with Blaize for release in September, La Promenade. ‘Walking’, therefore, will be the key word for this one-off show, providing a spectacle of movement and dramatic centrepoint for Co Lee, who will, of course, also serve up a carefully planned musical performance, together his band.
