Mire vágyik valójában az ember? Nehéz a válasz, hiszen egy tökéletesre teremtett világból a kiutat, a kiűzetés után az Édenbe vezető visszautat keresi folyton folyvást. Éva és Ádám című est ezzel az univerzális kérdéssel foglalkozik, két fiatal koreográfus alkotó mozgásnyelvén és művészi megjelenítésén keresztül.

The idea for The Nutcracker ballet came from theone-time director of the Tsarist theatre who, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s fairy tale entitled the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, wanted to stage a fairy tale ballet that would surpass all that had gone before, both in sound and in spectacle. Tchaikovsky was asked to compose the music and after Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty his third and final ballet was also a great success. It was the six-movement suite of the music of The Nutcracker that was first performed in March 1892, and in December of the same year the spectacularly presented theatrical work was also performed. The Nutcracker has become the most frequently played ballet piece of all time.

What do people really want? The answer is difficult, since we are constantly searching for a way out of a perfect world, the way back to Eden after our exile. The Eve & Adam performance addresses this universal question through the language of movement and the artistic representation of two young choreographers.

Bits and Pieces is a collection of short dance works - solos, duos, trios - created by the American Joe Alegado with contributions from the guest dancers themselves. All creations are being constructed with the intention of bringing focus to the relationship between the creative output of the last 52 years, to the primary tools used as inspiration throughout that period of time - the hand gesture.

Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of Memoirs of a Geisha. The performance takes viewers into the lonely, secretive, and personal world of Women of Dance and Art, the memoir of an elderly dancer who always danced with her whole soul. Yvette Bozsik’s iconic partner, Tamás Vati, also features in the performance, which reveals the inner work of a dancer’s self-knowledge, rituals, inner vibrations, and secrets in the triple unity of body, soul, and spirit. Yvette Bozsik’s solo performance was inspired by the autobiography Geisha of Gion by Mineko Iwasaki, the protagonist of the world-famous book and film Memoirs of a Geisha.

King Matthias Corvinus is one of the most significant figures in Hungarian history, and his reign is remembered by many stories, legends and anecdotes.

A LÉTEZÉS egy tangó táncszínházi alkotás, amely az emberi élet útját járja be – a fiatalság sodró lendületétől az öregkor csendes belátásáig. A tangóban születik meg ez az utazás, az ölelés intimitásában, a lélek és a test mély kapcsolódásán keresztül.

Shakespeare egyik legismertebb vígjátéka egyben keserédes dráma a szerelem természetéről. Fiatalok vesznek el egy elvarázsolt erdőben, és miközben párjukat keresik, kiderül, hogy ebben a világban a szerelem csak függőség, a magány ellenszere. A kavarodásban a szerelmesek valójában egymásban keresik önmagukat – ez a keresés pedig boldogsághoz és boldogtalansághoz is vezethet.

A Ringató foglalkozásokon megismertetjük a kisgyermekes családokkal a zenei nevelés lehetőségeit. Célunk, hogy a szülők és a gyerekek átéljék a közös éneklés és játék élményét. Várunk mindenkit, aki maga is úgy érzi, fontos az, hogy a művészet eszközeivel neveljünk, aki szívesen énekel, bővíti a dalkincsét, vagy éppen önmaga bátortalan az éneklésben.

Kizökkent az idő…, ahogy Shakespeare-nél szokott. De, míg Hamlet azzal a bizonyossággal lép a színpadra, hogy általa még helyretolható – Lear az első pillanatban elveszti a csatát. Nem fokozatosan fog széthullani; az egykori nagy király és magabiztos férfi egyetlen pillanat alatt semmisül meg, amikor imádott felesége sírba száll. Darabbéli útja innen csak tántorgás a végső nyughely felé. Hangulat ingadozásai, átkai, dührohamai, de még kétségbeesett kapaszkodási kísérlete is lányaiba – mind a pótolhatatlan űrrel magyarázhatók. Képtelen tovább a kormányzásra; így válik a birodalom felosztása kényszerűvé. Nincs előre eltervezettség és racionális döntés, csak kapkodó improvizálás.
