As in previous years, the 2025/2026 Ferencsik season ticket is aimed primarily at lovers of the Viennese classics. Once again it, offers a wealth of enriching experiences. From Joseph Haydn, we will hear the Symphony No. 87 in A major, the Notturno No. 5 in C major, the “Clock” symphony and the Violin Concerto No. 4 in G major.

A Budapest Symphony Orchestra nemzetközi színtéren is elismert együttes, mely1992-ben alakult legjobb hazai szimfonikus zenekarok tagjaiból. A zenekar számos filmzene felvételt, klasszikus- és popzenei albumot készített már, valamint rendszeres fellépője a hazai zenei életnek olyan helyszíneken, mint a Vigadó, a Zeneakadémia, a Müpa, vagy a BMC. Az együttest különleges muzikalitása és sokszínűsége teszi igazán egyedivé.

Alex Berky hegedűművész már egészen fiatalon megmutatta kivételes tehetségét. Kilencévesen a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Főiskola rendkívüli tehetségek osztályába nyert felvételt, ahol neves hegedűprofesszoroktól sajátíthatta el mestersége titkait.

Az „Ormányos Falka” fagottzenekar április 17-én született, a „Fagottissimo 2006” rendezvény alkalmával. Ekkor adta elő az együttes a háziverseny nyitóakkordjaként Charpentier: Te Deum-ának fagott zenekarra készült átiratát.

George Gershwin (New York, Brooklyn, 1898. szeptember 26. – Beverly Hills, 1937. július 11.) amerikai zeneszerző, zongorista, kompozíciói a szórakoztató zene, dzsessz és a komolyzene műfajain ívelnek át. Az amerikai folklórból is építkező Gershwin egyike a 20. század jelentős zeneszerző egyéniségeinek.

Whims of a Star is far from the outstanding Hungarian pianist Zoltán Fejérvári, who, through quiet but persistent and hard work, has sold out and celebrated concerts both in Hungary and abroad. With the same devotion and firm talent, the Liszt Prize-winning musician successfully re-established the focus of musical interest in the artistic legacy of the 20th-century Hungarian composer, Sándor Veress.

An afternoon bullfight and the prayer of the bullfighters are evoked in a composition by Joaquín Turina from the last century, conducted by Péter Csaba. Our concert continues with a piece by Ottorino Respighi, a unique figure in Italian music, who has a passion for classical forms and sounds of past centuries. The title of his violin concerto, Concerto all'antica refers to this, or rather to his gallant style. The brilliant piece is performed by the orchestra's violinist Dávid Pintér. But it was also under the spell of classicism, or more precisely under the influence of the Salzburg master, that Schubert composed Symphony No. 5. The composer wrote in his diary: "Oh, Mozart, immortal Mozart! What seeds of a brighter, more beautiful life have you planted in our souls!"
