Things We Shouldn’t Say Out Loud is an uncanny portrait of a community in quiet crisis, where fear and self-censorship are rampant, and where truth and lies are indistinguishable."
It is a special and rare opportunity, that a new American play has its first-ever public showing in Hungary. Spencer Huffman, Fulbright Arts Scholar, young American playwright travelled to Hungary to write his new play of oppression and rebellion. For this, he had several meetings with the students of Freeszfe. As his time in Hungary is coming to an end, we are having a “Phase Premier”, where we will be showing the first act of his play in progress, which can be interpreted on its own, as a staged reading.
The language of the performance is English with Hungarian subtitles.
The length of the performance is about 50 minutes.
