Dalinda is one of those performers who create a fresh sound with a contemporary approach starting from folk music foundations. The a cappella trio's singers – Fanni Nádasdy, Julianna Paár and Sára Tímár – are all committed to Hungarian folk music, yet their musicianship strives to bring the authentic, instinctive singing style of folk songs to the stage in a modern form, sensitively reworked in several voices. Their songs are about shared human experience, as folk songs are the carriers of collective feelings and thoughts that affect us all, and are the purest source of our self-expression. The idea of the formation was born in 2015, and Dalinda was crystallized from the experience of many folk and world music projects, after years of working together. In the past years, the band has performed in the biggest concert halls in Hungary, at festivals abroad and released two highly successful albums.
