She debuted in 2010 with a collection of delicately arranged, airy and melancholic indie-folk songs featuring guitar and piano, before achieving her international breakthrough in 2020 with her seventh album, Windswept Adan, an ambient, pastoral and richly adorned work. Aoba’s peaceful, meditative and surreal soundscape delves into “the cosmic secrets of life”, and adds a truly unique hue to the contemporary music scene. It is no surprise that her most recent LP was so hotly anticipated. Her first concert in Hungary will be part of a two-year-long world tour.
