On the evening of 24 February, the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra will perform European, American and Asian works at Budapest’s BMC which have already been met with loud applause at last year’s festival concerts. The music will be alternating between upbeat, ecstatic and profound, with thought-provoking beauty, at times sadly poignant – so as our world. The stylistic framework will be provided by the 20th-21st centuries, while the eternal musical ideas will call our attention to impermanence.
