Nourt nemrég vették fel ápolónőnek abba a vegyi üzembe, ahol az apja, szakszervezeti képviselő és régóta a vállalat fontos oszlopa. Miközben a gyárban egészségügyi ellenőrzés folyik, egy újságíró a hulladékgazdálkodás után nyomoz. A két fiatal nő fokozatosan rájön, hogy ez a gyár, a helyi gazdaság egyik alappillére, számos titkot rejteget.
